GREAT table - but very light.
For the money its a great buy. VERY easy to put together. Took me about 15 minutes.It looks great and it does the job. The only thing that would make this product ideal would be a heavier base. The table is very light, so if you lean against it or brush against it - well lets just say don't keep...

I know that it will depend upon a number of different variables but I'm looking for a ballpark sort of figure. If each game cost £1 how much would I make from one in a month.
The answer to that will depend entirely on the pub in which the table is located, its hours of operation, how many people actually use it, etc., etc., etc.

I am working on a tight budget and would like some ideas on how to make a base for round pub tables. I went to Home Depot and found the table tops for cheap, now I just have to come up with some ideas on how to make the base for them.
How about using a Whiskey Barrel for a base? I saw this done already.Depending on the height of the stools, you might have to cut it to the proper size.

Step through the door of the Devilfish Public House and you instantly get the feel you’re in a different place.
Owner Dave Tagert said his favorite thing is watching people walk around the room, surveying the myriad nautical themed antiques, from portholes to diving helmets, and harpoons encased in a table to old movie posters. He and his wife, Stacy Bronson, who opened the Devilfish June 4, admit that a seafaring theme in a landlocked community is a strange idea but they said the whole idea was to make something that was comfortable, authentic feeling and not decorated by the beer companies.
“We wanted a place that would be as comfortable for 20-somethings as it would be for grandma’s birthday party,” Bronson said. “This should be a place where the town council could meet. We wanted a place where people come together.”
Appealing to a different crowd isn’t just lip service for this couple. When they first sited the public house at the corner of Chehalis Avenue and Prindle Street they already knew the bad reputation that stretch had for disorderly conduct after the bars let out. Tagert said they made a commitment to the Chehalis Police Department that they would have their last call at 11:30 p.m. and close at midnight Friday and Saturday nights.
