I bought these to replace a set of Mundial 5100's that was lost. I wasn't expecting such high quality from this set, but Consumers Digest selected these above many sets costing hundreds of dollars more (including the Mundial set that they reviewd) and I have to say this set is more than I...

Afterward locomoting into our foremost situation together, my wife and I actually wanted some nice kitchen knives, but weren’t cook to spend the 300-400 dollarsi would take. Afterward hearing good reviews near Chicago Cutlery, we determined to reach them a try. I conceive this may be one of the worst sets they offer.
DESIGN/QUALITY The knives themselves are substantially designed and feel nice in the hand, and the stoppage is somewhat sturdy! The steak knives are handy and the kitchen scissors are extremely handy! The residual of the real kitchen knives cut somewhat substantially and receive stayed somewhat sharp over the past 2 years. Here is our biggest problem: we receive involved peachy attention of these knives, without any real abuse or misuse, but several of them receive already grown rust spots!!?? These are supposed to be stainless steel! It’s highly disappointing! Steel wool and polishing compounds receive not helped!...

Are these professional knives? I wouldn’t say that. Don’t get me wrong, these are absolutely great knives but they’re not the use-for-restaurant type. They’re great for a home kitchen though, plus they don’t cost as much as the other great knife sets you see in the market.
